Some people are "over" people. That's what I prefer because the edge is always easy to see and ready to grab.
But, since we are non-conformists (a term that I find in many cases can be used synonymously with LAZY), this is how we do it at our house:
| I've given up on expecting anything more. |
Did you just take this picture at MY house?!
ReplyDeleteNew follower! Totally love your sarcasm, wit, and ability to speak the truth :)
Thank you, Nicole! What a wonderful compliment! And that picture could be taken on any given day in my house!
DeleteThat makes it easier for Oliver and Autumn so that is good. Have a nice weekend!

Murphy & Stanley
Fortunately, they have never been curious about the toilet paper!
DeleteWait until the actual 'empties' are just piled on the floor around the toilet. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, we've been there.
DeleteBAHAHA. Can I beside you?
ReplyDeleteI really want to say something witty here, but I'm not sure what you mean...
DeleteIn any case, glad I made you laugh!
That is exactly how my husband leaves the TP...he is way too lazy...er...noncomformist to actually remove the empty and OMGreplace it with a new roll. SoMuchWork! Lol!!
ReplyDeleteRight?!? So frustrating. I can't decide what is worse - that, or the fact that my daughter is an "under" person (whenever she actually replaces it, that is). Drives me crazy whenever I use her bathroom - I have to switch it!
DeleteI think we're going to be friends.
ReplyDeleteYay! I love new friends!
DeleteThat's why you don't even have the holder.......just use a basket and keep it on the floor next to the potty!! Then you look like a "conformist" but you really aren't! Haha
ReplyDeleteBut then don't you have a whole bunch of rolls being used at the same time? Not that it matters. Just curious.
DeleteI can't get my wife trained to replace it regularly either. And when she does? It's wrong. The only right way is "over". If you go under it can be difficult to pick the dangly bit off the wall.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, that picture could by from our house. Ever find the new roll on the tank?
New roll on the tank? All the time.
DeleteOver is the only way. No doubt.
We used to be those people. Now we have a one sided roll holder, and anyone (Even the kids. EVEN the husband!) can replace the roll easily. It has changed our butt-wiping experience for the better!
ReplyDeleteI've seen those! I want to replace our tp holders because they don't match the other finishes in our bathrooms. If I ever get around to it (hahaha), I'll have to remember this.
DeleteOMG that's hilarious! Although my kids have learned that it's just that type of thing that will put me over the edge into "crazy mama mode" if found. Ha!
ReplyDelete"Crazy mama mode"! Been there, sista.
DeleteLOL. I love this. This is my husband's method of replacing the toilet paper roll as well. Drives me insane. But lately, we don't keep the toilet paper on the roll at all because if it's within my daughter's reach, she unravels it at lightning speed.
